Remuneration
Salary is £130 – £149k pa (Grade M)

Annual leave
Annual leave allowance is 31 days plus public holidays, rising to 34 days after 10 years local government service.

Probation and notice period
The probation period is 6 months. Notice period thereafter is 3 months.

Working arrangements
Full time hours are 36 hours per week with both flexible and hybrid working. Given the seniority of the role, flexibility is essential, including evenings and occasional weekends.

Place of work
The regular place of work will be Kensington Town Hall, but there is also an expectation of working at other locations across the borough.

Key dates and selection process

Closing date: Monday, 21st July 2025 at 9.00am. We will be in touch with candidates by close of play on Friday, 25th July to advise on the outcome of their application.

First interviews: Friday, 1st August 2025 – Longlisted candidates will be invited to a Teams interview with a Campbell Tickell and technical assessor panel. In addition candidates will also be offered a 1:1 conversation with Dan Hawthorn, Executive Director, Housing & Social Investment on Tuesday, 29th July 2025.

We will be in touch with candidates by close of play on Friday, 8th August to advise on the outcome of their interview.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to the following:
1:1 Meeting with Chief Executive: w/c 11th August.

Final interviews: w/c 1st September – You will be invited to in-person interviews with resident, staff and member panels where you will also be asked to make a short presentation on a prepared topic.
