Let’s work together
Introduction from the Chair
We’re proud to introduce you to Nottingham City Homes Registered Provider (NCH RP), a housing provider rooted in a city known for its rich history, diversity, and commitment to community.
We’re proud to introduce you to Nottingham City Homes Registered Provider (NCH RP), a housing provider rooted in a city known for its rich history, diversity, and commitment to community.
At NCH RP, we provide temporary accommodation and affordable general needs housing for those in urgent need. Every home we offer is a chance for someone to find stability during an uncertain time. In supporting Nottingham City Council’s statutory homelessness duties, we make a direct and meaningful difference to families, individuals, and the wider community.
The next three – four years represent a pivotal chapter for the NCH Group. Together with Nottingham City Council, we are managing a carefully planned and responsible exit from direct housing provision in the city. The Business Plan for 2025–2028 (2029) outlines how we will withdraw from market-rented housing, dispose of assets responsibly, and ensure continued delivery of high-quality temporary accommodation through external providers.
Through this transition, NCH RP remains committed to protecting the supply of vital homes in Nottingham, particularly for those at risk of homelessness while meeting our financial obligations, including the repayment of loans to the Council and ensuring business continuity.
We are looking for a new Chair and four Board members to guide NCH RP through this transformative period. These roles are not just about governance, they are about helping shape the final phase of a legacy organisation with compassion, integrity, and responsibility.
Your contribution will help ensure that every decision we make supports people, protects services, and delivers value back to the public.
By 2029, NCH Group is expected to complete its transition, with NCH RP’s future structure and role still being reviewed in partnership with the Council. During this time, your leadership and insight will be instrumental in balancing continuity of care with the challenges of change.
We are looking for Board members who share our passion and drive and commitment to our social purpose as every element is as vital as your skill set. Together, we can help shape a responsible, compassionate exit that leaves a legacy for Nottingham’s communities.
We look forward to welcoming you.
Madeline Forster, Chair of Nottingham City Homes Group Board & Nottingham City Homes Enterprise Ltd
Mike Khouri-Bent, Chair of Nottingham City Homes Registered Provider
