Position:

Assistant Director of Finance

Package:

Spot salary £92K per annum

Relocation up to £6K

Annual Leave:

27 days annual leave + Bank Holidays and Christmas holidays (3 days).

Working hours:

Normal hours of work are 37 hours per week based around the usual business working week.

This position will benefit from flexible hours and TOIL working arrangements.

Attendance at evening meetings may be required from time to time.

Flexible working arrangements are available as well as a hybrid working model.  However, there will be an expectation for office presence.

Pension:

Social Housing Pension Scheme.  Employer contribution up to 10%

 Probation and notice periods:

6 months for probation and 6 months’ notice

Your normal place of work will be at one of the offices below:

Hybrid working applies i.e. a combination of office based
and home working.

Key Dates and the Selection Process

Closing Date | Friday 23rd May 2025 (9am)
The longlist will be agreed Friday 30th May 2025. All candidates will be informed of the outcome of their application once the meeting has concluded.

First Interviews | Thursday 5th June 2025
Longlist candidates will be interviewed virtually using MS Teams by a Campbell Tickell panel.
The shortlist will be agreed Monday 16th June 2025, and candidates will be informed once the meeting has concluded.

Final Stage

All shortlisted candidates will be required to prepare a presentation on a set topic, which will be provided in advance of the interview.

Interviews will be held on Monday 23th June 2025 at Barcud Regional Office, Newtown, Powys, SY16 1AL.
The interviews will be led by Jason Jones – Chief Executive, Kate Curran – Group Director of Corporate Services and John Rees – Board Member. Kelly Shaw from Campbell Tickell will also be in attendance.
